Schneider Electric introduces its new solution I-Line Track Busway for Data Centers.

Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital energy management and automation, has unveiled its innovative solution I-Line Track Busway. This new technology is designed to meet the needs of data centers in terms of safety, flexibility, scalability, efficiency, and installation times.

I-Line Track Busway is a prefabricated, robust, and modular electrical busway with an open concept design. It allows for decentralized electrical distribution, quick and scalable installation, and offers safety and reliability. Additionally, it ensures service continuity and requires minimal maintenance.

Modern data centers demand a reliable and adaptable electrical infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations. Electrical service continuity is crucial, as any disruption can lead to data loss and downtime. To address these critical needs, Schneider Electric has developed the I-Line Track Busway solution.

Key features of I-Line Track Busway include:

I-Line Track electrical busway facilitates flexible and efficient implementation. It is certified according to IEC61439-6 and has 99.9% pure copper, resulting in more than 98% conductivity.

Its aluminum housing is lightweight, with various color options, epoxy powder coating, and corrosion resistance.

Plug-in quick connection system for distribution box connection: Connect distribution boxes in just 3 seconds with spring clamps, ensuring optimal electrical contact.

Easy Lock anchors: An award-winning solution that securely connects distribution boxes to the electrical busway, providing a safe and reliable connection.

Connecting blocks between elements: Ensure a fast and reliable electromechanical connection, along with quick-to-install fixing systems.

Slots in the aluminum casing: Allow for other buses for communication or fiber optic for thermal monitoring of the prefabricated electrical busway.

Headline monitoring systems: Monitor consumption, load levels, alarms, etc., to ensure optimal system operation.

Distribution boxes with high capacity for protection devices, signaling, and power outlets, ensuring safe installation and removal.

“I-Line Track Busway marks a milestone in the evolution of prefabricated electrical busways for data centers,” said Fernando Vázquez, Head of Marketing & Business Development & Channel Manager at Schneider Electric. “We are committed to providing innovative solutions that address the critical needs of our customers in the data center sector. Decentralized electrical distribution is essential for them, offering significant advantages such as reducing energy losses, increased reliability, scalability, design flexibility, and enhanced security.”

Schneider Electric’s I-Line Track Busway solution addresses these challenges by providing an efficient and reliable electrical infrastructure that ensures business continuity.
