On the occasion of the World Data Center Day, celebrated on March 22nd, Oasix, the cloud and data center division of Grupo Aire, organized successful open house events at their facilities in Málaga, Valencia, and Alicante. This event allowed visitors, mainly businesses, to discover firsthand how these advanced data centers operate and the significant advantages they offer.
The initiative stood out for showcasing the facilities that Oasix owns in strategic locations across Spain, helping attendees understand the importance of carrier neutrality, proximity to reduce latency, and the secure data policies implemented by the company. These attributes have especially caught the attention of visitors, demonstrating Oasix’s commitment to excellence in data management.
Data centers, increasingly essential for organizations of all sizes, offer numerous benefits such as eliminating costs of acquiring and maintaining proprietary infrastructure, maintaining backups in multiple locations through a network of interconnected data centers, and advanced security measures like Anti-DDoS protection.
The choice of Alicante, Valencia, and Málaga for these events is not coincidental, as these cities are becoming key points for the digital transformation of many companies, which can benefit from the colocation infrastructure and connectivity offered by Grupo Aire. Additionally, Madrid will soon be joining with the opening of a DataCenter in the capital, where the company from the Grupo Aire, Stackscale, also provides infrastructure and Private Cloud services.
Furthermore, in line with the company’s environmental commitment, the data centers in Alicante and Valencia are equipped with solar panels and exclusively use renewable energies, demonstrating Oasix’s ecological responsibility and their goal to minimize the carbon footprint of their operations.
With these actions, Oasix not only positions itself as a leader in offering data center solutions in Spain but also strengthens its image as an innovative company committed to sustainable development in the technology sector.
