p>Alfonso García Muriel (Bilbao, 1978) has been appointed president of DXC Technology for Spain and Portugal.

Since 2020, as Business Director, he has led the high potential accounts segment, where he has contributed to the development of strong relationships with over 40 clients.

With breakout session set on maintaining the company’s sustainable growth, he will lead technological progress and the development and promotion of talent within the organization to ensure the relevance and competitiveness of its clients in an ever-evolving market with increasingly demanding requirements.

Alfonso García Muriel replaces Juan Parra in the role, who, after more than 8 years at the helm of DXC Technology Spain and Portugal as the company president, takes on a new position as president of DXC for Europe.

With a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Basque Country and an Executive MBA from IE Business School, Alfonso has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology services sector.

The new president of DXC has stated, “I take on this new challenge with the responsibility of working each day to continue helping each of our clients in a time of tremendous technological disruption. We face a significant challenge in maintaining the balance between technological impetus, market demands, and the search for sustainable business models.
