Universal Robots Announces the Largest Cobot Conference and Expo in the U.S.: Collaborate North America 2025

Collaborative robots (cobots) are the fastest-growing segment in industrial automation, with a projected global growth rate exceeding 20% annually through 2028. Collaborate North America 2025, the largest conference and trade show dedicated to cobots in the United States, will be held on January 28, 2025, in Novi, Michigan, and will be free for attendees. The event will bring together more than 500 manufacturing industry professionals, automation specialists, educators, and industry leaders from prominent institutions and companies, such as MIT and the Association for Advancing Automation (A3).

Hands-on demonstrations:
Attendees will experience over 30 cobot-driven solutions in applications such as welding, quality inspection, material handling, machine feeding, assembly, painting, and palletizing. These interactive demonstrations will be presented by Universal Robots and UR+ ecosystem partners, including A.I Automation, Schmalz, Magswitch, PIAB, Zimmer, Schunk, Flexline Automation, Acumino AI, and SICK.

Keynote presentations:
The event will kick off with a presentation from Stacey Moser, Commercial Director at Universal Robots, followed by prominent experts in robotics and automation. Speakers will include:

  • Ben Armstrong (Executive Director and Research Scientist, MIT): An expert in innovation and operational performance in manufacturing, Armstrong focuses on the adoption of advanced technologies and workforce development for sustainable growth in the industrial sector.
