As part of their commitment, TIM will carry out a series of significant improvements in the communication infrastructure, including:
– Upgrading the mobile network at event locations, with a focus on areas of particular relevance such as airports and stations.
– Provision of over 10,000 SIM cards and 5G and 4G routers to ensure optimal mobile connectivity.
– Wiring of all Olympic and Paralympic venues to offer advanced voice and data solutions.
– Implementation of two telecommunications and data transmission networks to connect all venues in the Milano, Valtellina, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige areas.
Digital security: a priority
TIM will also be responsible for managing the digital security of the network and operational safeguarding, crucial elements to meet the high service levels required for an event of this magnitude.
