The tenth edition of RootedCON concludes in Valencia with record attendance

Valencia has once again hosted, for the tenth year, a new edition of RootedCON, the most prominent congress of cybersecurity and national technology. As is customary at this congress, the objective has been to create a space where cybersecurity experts could exchange their knowledge, as well as showcase the latest developments in cybersecurity.

Although the size of the congress is smaller than that of the city of Madrid, which attracts more than 6,000 people, the variety of profiles remains, as well as the essence of addressing the most relevant and current topics in the sector from a neutral standpoint.

An agenda to unite knowledge and fight cybercrime

In this edition, RootedValencia has featured the presence of high-caliber experts such as Alejandro Aliaga, Sara Martínez, Josep Albors, David Meléndez Cano, Gabriela García, Roberto Amado, Ana Isabel Prieto, Jezer Ferreira, and Francisco Álvarez.

Throughout the day, numerous topics of interest present in our current context were discussed, such as the advances of Artificial Intelligence in the phishing and scams landscape in Spain, the role of sandboxing today, the current state of Bitlocker, de-anonymizing profiles on social networks, and the silent transformation of SOC, among others.

The day before the congress, Tuesday, October 15th, the highlighted RootedLabs took place, training activities for those interested in cybersecurity and whose access is independent of RootedValencia, at the AEDIT space of the Fundación Universidad-Empresa de la Universitat de València.

With the support of leading companies in the sector

As a reference event in the European cybersecurity sector, Rooted Valencia has had the support of leading companies in the sector that make its implementation possible: Tarlogic Cybersecurity Experts (diamond sponsor), Centro Criptológico Nacional CCN-CERT (platinum sponsor), and VMRAY (gold sponsor). With this edition, and after its presence in Portugal and Panama, the congress continues to expand at the European and international level with presentations of social significance and prepares for its next edition of RootedCON 2025 in Madrid.
