Artificial Intelligence Advancements Revolutionizing Spain’s Economic and Labor Landscape

The advancements in Artificial Intelligence are revolutionizing the economic and labor landscape of Spain. This emerging technology promises to transform various sectors of our country’s economy, accelerating and automating many processes. In this context, Packlink, the leading platform in logistic solutions, has conducted a study revealing that Spaniards are the Europeans showing the most interest in integrating Artificial Intelligence into the ecommerce sector.

In this regard, 82% of consumers in Spain expect that Artificial Intelligence will enhance online purchasing processes. This percentage reaches 65% for the British, 70% for the French, 73% for the Germans, and 77% for the Italians.

Consumers are increasingly seeking simple processes that allow them to make their purchases in a more comfortable and effortless manner. Therefore, 33% of Spaniards expect Artificial Intelligence to improve and automate the delivery of order updates. Additionally, 32.7% of respondents wish for this technological advance to streamline the management of returns, while 29.6% want AI to be utilized for secure and convenient payments.

Furthermore, Spaniards not only expect improvements in logistic processes and last-mile delivery but also for Artificial Intelligence to be incorporated into the pre-sale process. In this sense, 31.1% of consumers hope that this technology assists them in finding product information before making a purchase, and 22.6% want to receive personalized product recommendations.

“The promise of Artificial Intelligence to transform a significant portion of economic sectors worldwide, including ecommerce. Faced with this phenomenon, Spanish consumers show more enthusiasm than their European neighbors. Therefore, sellers who are quick to adapt this technology to their businesses will enjoy a better reception among the Spanish public,” states Noelia Lázaro, Marketing Director of Packlink.
