T-Systems Iberia, the digital services division of Deutsche Telekom, has formed a strategic partnership with Red Hat to strengthen its automation capabilities for clients across key sectors such as government, automotive, healthcare, industry, retail, and logistics. The collaboration centers on the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, which will enable T-Systems to deliver more efficient, reliable, and scalable services in mission-critical environments.
As part of this agreement, T-Systems has standardized the use of the Ansible Automation Platform by migrating from open-source tools to this professional solution, aiming to improve operational efficiency, boost reliability, and consolidate infrastructure management for its more than 100 clients.
“At T-Systems, excellence in managing critical client environments is our top priority. This partnership with Red Hat allows us to evolve into a professional platform that automates at scale, manages complex environments, and provides flexibility and quality in shorter timeframes,” said Mario Izquierdo Martínez, Head of Cloud Application Services at T-Systems Iberia. Izquierdo expects this transformation to increase automation process efficiency by 25%.
To ensure optimal deployment of the new platform, T-Systems has an officially Red Hat-certified team ready to harness the full business potential of the Ansible Automation Platform. The solution offers integration with IT service management tools, access to a wide range of Red Hat Ansible Certified Content Collections, and a predictable lifecycle with advanced scaling tools and specialized technical support.
“By adopting the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, T-Systems Iberia commits to a platform that not only automates tasks but also encourages collaboration among teams, enabling knowledge sharing and fostering the development of more innovative solutions for mission-critical services,” noted Julia Bernal, Red Hat country manager for Spain and Portugal.
This alliance is part of T-Systems’ strategy to strengthen its Automation-as-a-Service offerings. In the future, both companies plan to expand this collaboration with new solutions aimed at improving managed automation outsourcing and supporting clients in creating their own automation offices, facilitating faster and more controlled internal process transformations.
With this initiative, T-Systems Iberia reinforces its position as a trusted technology partner for companies looking to accelerate their digital transformation and successfully adapt to the evolving business environment.
