Submer, a leading infrastructure provider for artificial intelligence, has announced the acquisition of Radian Arc Operations Pty Ltd, a company specializing in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms focused on the operation of sovereign cloud GPU services designed specifically for the telecommunications sector.
This move strengthens and completes Submer’s full-stack cloud offering by integrating InferX — its platform certified earlier this year as a NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) — with Radian Arc’s GPU edge computing technology, already deployed in telecommunications operator networks. Through this integration, Submer expands its global reach, with a presence in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, India, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, Radian Arc serves over 70 clients in the telecommunications and edge computing sectors worldwide, with thousands of active GPUs.
Radian Arc’s platform is mainly used by telecom operators to support workloads in artificial intelligence and cloud gaming—applications that demand high performance and minimal latency. Its ability to integrate AI infrastructure directly into operator networks ensures true data sovereignty by processing information within each country, leveraging local infrastructure and utilizing the telecom companies’ own billing and data management systems.
“This acquisition of Radian Arc consolidates our full-stack cloud infrastructure,” states Patrick Smets, CEO of Submer. “The combination of Radian Arc with InferX, our AI operations and delivery platform, creates a dual-plane, sovereign, telecom-oriented cloud solution that is highly competitive in today’s AI data center market.”
“We built our platform in close collaboration with our clients and partners, which has enabled us to develop a robust model proven to scale,” says David Cook, CEO of Radian Arc. “By joining Submer’s established partner ecosystem, we are now positioned to accelerate the delivery of sovereign AI infrastructure more quickly and with lower latency to telecom operators worldwide.”
The acquisition provides Submer with a diversified, long-term customer base with real, monetizable use cases already in operation. Submer is rapidly building the factories of the future AI industry, scaling solutions that complement core datacenters with edge compute to deliver an all-encompassing AI cloud solution.
“Built on ten years of leadership in liquid cooling, Submer has evolved into a full-stack AI data center provider, fully accountable from chip to operation. Partnering with Radian Arc and its edge compute platform is an exciting next step, reinforcing our position as the only responsible partner for end-to-end AI infrastructure,” adds Smets.
Submer’s full-stack offering includes:
- An integrated AI cloud business unit — combining InferX (NCP), Radian Arc’s sovereign and telco edge cloud capabilities, and AI inference platforms, enabling scalable and monetizable AI workloads through ecosystem partnerships.
- End-to-end design and development capabilities — delivering modular, turnkey AI data centers that support large-scale enterprise and hyperscale deployments across Europe and the United States.
- Extensive IT and liquid cooling expertise — covering proprietary system design, installation, advanced liquid cooling, and integrated AI compute platforms with networking and storage, offered directly or via strategic partners.
- Access to significant land and power infrastructure — exceeding 5 GW in the UK, US, India, and the Middle East through partner consortia, enabling rapid deployment of cutting-edge AI infrastructure.
