The Spanish government has taken a decisive step in the digital transformation of its Armed Forces with the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Digital Transformation to deploy a 5G communications network at the ‘San Gregorio’ Training Center, one of the main maneuvering fields of the Army and a reference point within NATO.

This project, financed with European funds from the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan and with an estimated investment of 15 million euros, will position ‘San Gregorio’ as a cutting-edge center for military technology.
