Siemens Unveils Its Innovations at CES 2025

Siemens, a global leader in industrial software, has presented its vision for an industrial future driven by the convergence of data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and software-defined automation at CES 2025, the world’s most influential technology event. The company highlighted how its technologies are transforming industries of all kinds, facilitating flexibility, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Peter Koerte, a member of the Siemens AG Executive Board, stated: “Industrial AI is a paradigm shift that will positively impact every industry. By incorporating advanced AI capabilities into the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, we help our customers remain competitive, resilient, and sustainable in an increasingly complex world.”

Key Innovations Unveiled at CES 2025

  1. Siemens Industrial Copilot for Operations
Siemens introduced its new industrial copilot tool, designed to integrate AI directly into the factory floor. This technology enables real-time decision-making, improving productivity and operational efficiency while reducing downtime. The system also connects with the Industrial Edge ecosystem to manage AI models in production environments.
  2. Collaboration with JetZero
Siemens announced an agreement with JetZero, an aviation startup, to develop a sustainable blended-wing aircraft. This design aims to reduce fuel consumption by 50% and achieve zero carbon emissions by 2035. JetZero will leverage the Siemens Xcelerator digital platform to design, manufacture, and operate this aircraft. Additionally, the project includes the establishment of a fully automated and digitized “Factory of the Future” in the U.S.
  3. Siemens for Startups
Siemens also unveiled a new program aimed at startups, offering access to its industrial technology and metaverse ecosystem at reduced prices. The collaboration with Amazon Web Services will provide AWS credits and technical support, enabling startups to innovate and scale their ideas.
  4. Technology Partnerships
    • NVIDIA: Siemens integrated the Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer, developed with NVIDIA Omniverse, to optimize product life cycles using digital twins.
    • Sony: Together with Sony, Siemens launched an immersive engineering solution that combines mixed reality glasses with its NX software, allowing for real-time 3D collaboration.

Highlighted Industrial Applications

Siemens showcased real-world examples of how its technology impacts global communities:

  • Spinnova: Innovation in sustainable textiles using digital twins.
  • Wayout International: Healthier drinking water solutions using edge computing.
  • Desert Control: Sustainable agriculture for regions affected by desertification.
  • Arc: Sustainable electrification in the marine industry.

A Sustainable and Digitized Approach

The combination of automation, digital twins, and the industrial metaverse allows Siemens to transform industrial processes, reduce risks, and optimize resources. These innovations not only address technological challenges but also social and environmental ones, aligning with a more sustainable future.
