SIA Becomes Minsait Cyber to Strengthen Its Global Leadership in Cybersecurity

Madrid, May 14, 2025. – SIA, the Spanish company specializing in cybersecurity and part of the Indra group, takes a key step in its international consolidation by adopting the commercial name Minsait Cyber. This rebranding integrates its identity under the Minsait brand, reinforcing unity, visibility, and consistency of its offerings in the 20 countries where it operates.

The decision reflects the natural evolution of the company after more than five years within the Indra Group. During this period, SIA has experienced sustained growth of nearly 20% and has developed an increasingly cross-functional and specialized offering. With the new name, the company seeks to reaffirm its position as a global leader in cybersecurity and enhance synergy with other areas of the group.

Luis Abril, executive director of Indra and general manager of Minsait, emphasized that "in an environment marked by the rise of artificial intelligence and increasingly sophisticated threats, we need to strengthen our capabilities and foster deeper collaboration among all group units to more effectively protect our clients’ assets."

Roberto Espina, CEO of Minsait Cyber, noted that "our advanced capabilities and our team of cybersecurity experts perfectly complement Indra’s value proposition, allowing us to offer more comprehensive and tailored solutions to organizations."

A Comprehensive and Sovereign Offering

Minsait Cyber presents an end-to-end cybersecurity proposal, covering the entire defense cycle under the NIST framework: identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover. It also highlights its leadership in digital identity solutions, trusted services, biometrics, and Smart Borders, with proprietary products recognized in the market.

The company has strongly committed to the development of in-house solutions with a clear dedication to technological sovereignty, integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and establishing strategic alliances to maximize the protection of businesses and public services.

This transformation will not alter the internal operations of the company: the structure, management, teams, and current projects will continue as usual. Relationships with strategic partners will be maintained, preserving collaborative dynamics with current and future clients.

International Presence and Talent Development

Minsait Cyber encompasses, under its new brand, all the companies that were part of SIA, except for Mobbeel —specializing in identity verification and biometrics— and MSS, a German firm focused on detecting and responding to cyberattacks. With more than 2,000 specialists and over 35 years of experience, the company is now the largest Spanish cybersecurity firm.

Moreover, it maintains a strong commitment to young talent and specialized training, thanks to agreements with 27 universities and 23 vocational training centers, aimed at responding to the growing market demand and promoting secure digital transformation.

With its new identity as Minsait Cyber and the update of its digital presence —including the new website minsaitcyber.com— the company embarks on a new phase, more aligned with Indra’s global vision and with the ambition to lead cybersecurity in an increasingly connected world exposed to complex threats.
