SEIDOR will train 320 people in SAP technology as part of a program promoted by the Andalusian government.

SEIDOR, a consulting firm specialized in technology solutions and services, in collaboration with Avante Formación, will carry out a training plan for 320 people in SAP technology, driven by the Junta de Andalucía, as they have been awarded the majority of the Andalusian government’s procurement.

The training provided by SEIDOR and Avante Formación will cover the areas of Logistics and SAP Programming, a leading global business management system that is currently one of the most in-demand job profiles in the Andalusian and national productive sectors. The training will be conducted in-person and will cover all eight Andalusian provinces, with a duration of between 270 and 300 hours of instruction.

The entire SAP technology training plan, in which the Ministry has invested a total of 2.44 million euros, is primarily focused on unemployed individuals, but also open to active workers seeking to acquire new skills.

The plan was recently presented by the Minister, Rocío Blanco, at an event attended by SEIDOR’s Director of Public Sector, Joan Ramon Barrera, SAP Spain’s Director of Public Sector and Banking, Izaskun Ramos, and the Director General of the SAP Spain Users Association, Ignacio Cantillana.

In this regard, Joan Ramon Barrera, SEIDOR’s Director of Public Sector, stated, “SEIDOR has always had a close relationship with Andalucía, where we have been present for over 20 years, focusing on creating wealth, leveraging our experience and capabilities to increase the competitiveness of its business sector and create quality jobs.”

Minister Blanco confirmed that “training is the most effective active employment policy to bring people closer to stable and quality employment,” especially in the case of SAP technology, where students who complete these courses have almost 100% employability prospects. It is worth noting that SAP software is implemented in 95% of IBEX 35 companies, and 80% of its users are SMEs.

During her intervention, Izaskun Ramos stated, “We are confident that this employment training plan by the Ministry of Employment will increase employability, guaranteeing stable and quality jobs, and harness the region’s potential to make Andalucía a reference in technological training.”
