RootedCON, the most influential cybersecurity conference in Spain, is expanding its reach to Portugal, marking its first edition in the neighboring country. This important event will take place on May 24 and 25 at the Fundação Oriente Auditorium in Lisbon, becoming a key meeting point for professionals in the sector both nationally and internationally.
For two days, Lisbon will become the European epicenter of cybersecurity, bringing together renowned experts who will discuss the latest advances and strategies to combat cybercrime. This conference not only aims to be a meeting point for professionals in the sector but also a space for collective learning and the dissemination of critical research.
The Portuguese version of RootedCON promises to maintain the essence and values of its Spanish editions, known for their neutrality and for attracting a diverse audience that includes security technicians and members of the State Security Forces and Bodies. Despite being a smaller event compared to its counterpart in Madrid, which attracts over 6,000 participants, RootedCON Portugal expects to gather around 350 experts.
The event organizers have announced that tickets are now available and that the final program will be released soon. On the 24th, in addition to the main sessions, cybersecurity training activities will be offered, accessible independently from the conference.
RootedCON has the support of important companies in the sector, including sponsors Wazuh and SIBS Cyberwatch by Multicert, ensuring a rich and high-level experience for all attendees.
This new edition not only reinforces RootedCON’s position as a leader in cybersecurity conferences in Europe but also highlights its ongoing commitment to the international expansion of the conference, which has already taken place in Panama and aims to continue growing.
RootedCON is known as a forum where cybersecurity professionals can share knowledge and experiences in a neutral environment. With over thirteen years of experience, the conference has served as a platform for experts from around the world to present their latest work and research, significantly contributing to the development and cybersecurity at a global level.
