Proofpoint Launches Proofpoint Partner Network to Accelerate Partner Growth and Profitability

Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance solutions company, has announced the launch of Proofpoint Partner Network, a new global program aimed at strengthening its channel and supporting partner growth. The initiative features changes designed to improve profitability, reinforce margins, and increase the value partners deliver to clients in an environment where threats are increasingly targeting people, data, and AI-driven workflows.

According to the company, the new program offers a simpler structure and greater investments, better aligning with how clients purchase and how partners develop recurring, sustainable business. Proofpoint emphasizes that this redesign reflects a long-term commitment to growth through the channel, with more incentives, enhanced opportunity protection, and new avenues to build differentiated services around its AI-enhanced security platform.

Stan de Boisset, Senior Vice President of Global Channels at Proofpoint, stated that partners play a key role in reducing risks, simplifying security, and delivering measurable results to customers. He added that the Proofpoint Partner Network represents market evolution by providing a more robust economy for partners, clearer rules, and tools to develop scalable business practices.

One of the program’s main focuses is improving predictability and profitability for the channel. Proofpoint highlights that its customer renewal rate exceeds 90%, with many relationships lasting over ten years—a stability factor that the company says provides a solid foundation for recurring revenue. Building on this, the new model includes strengthened incentives for customer acquisition and renewals, increased co-investment through demand generation funds, and new investments in the data security segment, one of the fastest-growing expenditure areas.

The company has also enhanced the protection of partner-generated opportunities and co-selling operations, as well as the partner’s role in renewals, aiming to safeguard investments throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

Proofpoint assures that the program is designed to drive better success rates, higher margins, and sustained growth in accounts without adding complexity or additional vendors. Additionally, its threat intelligence—based on trillions of signals annually—enables partners to differentiate themselves in a competitive market and respond to emerging risks in environments with both people and AI.

Operationally, the Proofpoint Partner Network establishes three partner levels: Select, Elite, and Elite+. These levels recognize partner performance and investment, providing clear pathways toward greater benefits. Mid- and top-tier partners will have access to NFR licenses to facilitate practical learning, demonstrations, and enhanced technical specialization.

To align with current purchasing models, Proofpoint will also expand its channel through the AWS and Microsoft Azure marketplaces, opening new opportunities in areas such as AI, data security, and managed services. Looking ahead to 2026, the company expects the program to enable partners to develop and scale security services—including assessment reviews and certified deployment offerings—with the goal of creating new high-margin revenue streams.
