Pasqal launches its neutral-atom quantum computer on Google Cloud Marketplace

The French company Pasqal, a global leader in neutral atom quantum computing, has announced a strategic alliance with Google Cloud to offer its 100-qubit quantum processing unit (QPU) through the Google Cloud Marketplace. This collaboration allows any organization using Google Cloud to integrate quantum capabilities into their workflows via the Pasqal Cloud platform, which is available as an independent service.

With this agreement, users will be able to run quantum calculations directly from the cloud, monitor their progress, and leverage advanced tools to optimize and post-process their tasks. Furthermore, access under Google Cloud’s pay-as-you-go model will lower entry barriers for companies looking to experiment with quantum hardware without having to invest in their own infrastructure.

An Accessible Solution for Experts and Beginners

Pasqal provides users with an open-source software stack designed to facilitate the development of quantum tasks. This stack includes low-level libraries that allow for detailed control of the QPU, as well as high-level libraries that do not require prior knowledge of quantum computing and are aimed at problem-solving, such as graph machine learning.

Throughout 2025, the company plans to expand its catalog of solutions with new libraries focusing on optimization and quantum simulation, reinforcing its commitment to bringing quantum computing closer to applied sectors and companies of various sizes.

Statements from Key Figures

“The availability of our QPU on Google Cloud Marketplace is a decisive step towards democratizing access to practical quantum resources,” said Loïc Henriet, CEO of Pasqal. “This enables researchers and companies to leverage quantum computing directly from their existing cloud environments, in line with our commitment to providing scalable and frictionless solutions for hybrid infrastructures.”

From Google Cloud, Dai Vu, general manager of Marketplace and ISV programs, positively evaluated the partnership: “Incorporating Pasqal’s QPU into our Marketplace allows customers to deploy, manage, and scale this solution quickly and securely on Google Cloud’s global infrastructure.”

About Pasqal

Founded in 2019 from the Institut d’Optique, Pasqal develops quantum processors based on neutral atoms organized in 2D and 3D arrays, aiming to provide real quantum advantages in real-world applications. Among its founders is physicist Alain Aspect, Nobel Prize winner in Physics in 2022. The company has raised over €140 million in funding and maintains its headquarters in France.

This alliance reinforces the global trend towards Quantum as a Service (QaaS) and represents a new step in the integration of disruptive technologies within established cloud ecosystems like that of Google.
