ODATA drives sustainability and efficiency with its new cooling technology in data centers in Latin America.

ODATA, a leading company in the construction and operation of data centers in Latin America and a subsidiary of Aligned Data Centers, has announced the implementation of an innovative cooling technology in its facilities: the Delta Cube (Delta³). This cooling system, developed by Aligned and currently in the patent process, optimizes space usage and improves energy efficiency, positioning ODATA as a reference in sustainability and advanced technology in the data center sector.

The Delta³, produced in Brazil in collaboration with the company Munters at its Araucária plant in Paraná, represents a revolutionary solution in the thermal management of data centers. Unlike traditional systems that only send cold air to the rooms, the Delta³ captures and eliminates heat at its source, allowing for a hyper-scalable and highly efficient environment. This innovation reduces equipment acquisition costs and facilitates implementation, promoting both the local economy and job creation in the country.

Advanced cooling technology to meet AI demands

With the capability to cool loads of up to 50 kW per rack in the same row, the Delta³ allows ODATA’s data centers to maximize space usage, resulting in significant energy savings. Moreover, the system is designed to integrate with liquid cooling solutions, enabling ODATA to quickly adapt to the increasing demands of high-density applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL).

“The introduction of Delta³ is evidence of our commitment to sustainability and technological innovation to meet the changing needs of our customers,” said Ricardo Alário, CEO of ODATA. “This advancement allows us to strengthen Latin America’s digital infrastructure and contribute to the development of the Brazilian industry.”

A commitment to sustainability and renewable energy production

ODATA stands out not only for its focus on energy efficiency but also for its commitment to sustainability. In addition to introducing technologies that optimize energy consumption, the company is pioneering in becoming a self-producer of renewable energy in Brazil, ensuring that 100% of its consumption comes from sustainable sources.

“Delta³ is specifically designed for mission-critical areas, where optimizing energy consumption and reducing carbon emissions is essential,” explained Alário. This commitment reinforces ODATA’s position as a leader in the adoption of sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions in the data center sector.

At the forefront of the industry in Latin America

The implementation of Delta³ represents a significant advancement for ODATA, consolidating it as one of the most innovative data center companies in Latin America. With over a decade of development and refinement, this technology is an example of the company’s continuous effort to offer high-quality solutions that meet the demands of an ever-evolving market.

Thanks to its focus on efficiency, sustainability, and scalability, ODATA is not only contributing to the digital transformation of Latin America but also raising industry standards in terms of technological innovation and environmental responsibility.
