Nebius Deploys Blackwell Ultra GPU Cluster in the UK and Strengthens UK AI Infrastructure

The European technology infrastructure company strengthens its global presence and supports the UK’s AI strategy with the rollout of thousands of NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs.

The tech company Nebius (NASDAQ: NBIS) has announced the deployment of a new cluster of next-generation NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs in the UK, as part of its global expansion strategy in infrastructure for artificial intelligence. This investment reinforces the country’s national computing capacity, supports economic development, and strengthens British leadership in AI-driven research, innovation, and public services.

We are thrilled to provide computing infrastructure that will drive the future innovation of UK businesses, researchers, and public agencies,” stated Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius. “The UK is building, testing, and deploying AI at scale across sectors ranging from finance to life sciences. Being here brings us closer to the leaders shaping the future.”

A Commitment to AI Leadership from British Soil

Nebius’s new cluster will be operational in the fourth quarter of 2025 and will utilize thousands of Blackwell Ultra GPUs, NVIDIA’s most advanced platform for intensive AI tasks, including language models, autonomous agents, and physical applications.

This deployment not only offers supercomputing performance with the flexibility of a hyperscalable cloud but also aligns Nebius with the objectives of the UK government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan, focused on increasing domestic computing capacity for AI. Additionally, it will contribute to job creation, attracting investment, and strengthening a competitive national AI ecosystem.

Local infrastructure provides companies and startups with a foundation to build their own future with AI,” declared Dave Salvator, Director of Accelerated Computing Products at NVIDIA. “Nebius’s Blackwell Ultra-based infrastructure in the UK will support British innovators in developing advanced generative AI and reasoning applications.”

Seven Global Clusters and a New Strategic Center in London

With this new facility, Nebius will operate seven AI clusters across six countries spanning Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, establishing itself as one of the leading independent builders of infrastructure for AI on a global scale.

The rollout in the UK also strengthens Nebius’s commitment to key sectors such as healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences, thanks to its new specialized team based in London. The company is already collaborating with British clients in financial services, generative AI, and research institutions like the London Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

Furthermore, Nebius is actively contributing to cutting-edge AI research, with an internal R&D team located in London. This group recently led the publication of a new dynamic benchmark for evaluating language models with autonomous agents (LLMs agentic), solidifying Nebius’s position as a leader in applied research.
