Minsait strengthens its position in Latin America with the acquisition of MQA

Minsait, a company within the Indra group, has announced the acquisition of 100% of MQA, a leader in SAP solutions in Colombia and Central America. This strategic operation strengthens Minsait’s presence in the region and expands its digital service offerings.

A bet on digital and international growth

The acquisition of MQA aligns with Indra’s strategic plan “Leading the Future,” presented in March 2024. This plan establishes objectives for Minsait including strengthening its digital offerings and expanding its international business, with the goal of exceeding 50% of revenues in both dimensions by 2026.

Luis Abril, executive advisor of Indra and CEO of Minsait, emphasized the importance of this operation: “MQA is the best positioned company in Latin America in SAP enterprise management solutions, which will allow us to bring their knowledge to our current clients in the region, enhancing our digital business in the area, especially in the cloud.”

MQA: A consolidated leader in the Latin American market

With over 20 years of experience, MQA has established itself as a reference in the integration of SAP solutions in Latin America. The company has a base of over 240 clients in various sectors, including manufacturing, construction, transportation, pharmaceuticals, and automotive. In 2023, MQA experienced a 33% growth in sales compared to the previous year.

Gonzalo Marín, founder of the MQA Group, highlighted the significance of the agreement: “MQA is a specialized company in SAP solutions with a focus on cloud business for the industrial sector. Through this operation, Minsait adds highly qualified talent to its team.”

Synergies and growth opportunities

The integration of MQA into Minsait presents multiple opportunities:
– Strengthening the business in Colombia and Central America.
– Expanding the portfolio of solutions in other Latin American markets.
– Incorporating specialized talent in SAP technologies.
– Strategic positioning in a market with an estimated annual growth rate of 10% until 2025.

Minsait: A leader in digital transformation

With over 2,600 SAP experts and presence in 35 countries, Minsait consolidates itself as the main SAP partner in the Latin American region. The company was recognized in 2024 as SAP’s Strategic Partner in Spain, excelling in categories such as Highest Cloud Influenced Business Volume and Highest Cloud Sales Volume.

With this acquisition, Minsait reinforces its ability to offer advanced solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity, and consulting, consolidating its position as a leader in digital transformation in Spain and Latin America.
