Minsait Cyber, the Indra Group company specialized in cybersecurity, has officially presented its initiative CyberHub in Galicia, a collaborative ecosystem focused on innovation, research, and response to current and future challenges in cybersecurity. The launch of the Galician chapter was celebrated in A Coruña with the support of the Industrial Cybersecurity Center (CCI) and the participation of key entities from the business and technology sectors in the region.
The objective of CyberHub Galicia is clear: to create a space for joint work to address specific challenges faced by organizations in the area, particularly in sectors with critical infrastructures and operational environments (OT). Regulatory compliance, cyber resilience, supply chain protection, and risk management are some of the priority areas to be addressed within this collaboration framework.
“Our commitment to protecting organizations goes beyond the service we provide as a technology provider. CyberHub is a collective empowerment tool that promotes the exchange of ideas, co-creation of solutions, and continuous improvement as ways to advance in an increasingly threatened environment,” stated Roberto Espina, CEO of Minsait Cyber.
A Regional Think Tank for Facing Global Challenges
Following its recent implementation in the Basque Country, Galicia becomes the second autonomous community to host this laboratory for collaborative thought and action, which aims to expand to other regions in the country. CyberHub is designed as a recurring meeting point for public entities, leading companies, experts, startups, technology centers, and research groups, all with the common goal of strengthening cybersecurity from a local perspective while having a global impact.
Minsait Cyber contributes to this ecosystem with its team of over 2,000 highly specialized professionals and a comprehensive cybersecurity offering, with specific solutions for the OT sector and extensive experience in strategic areas. Additionally, the company maintains a strong presence in Galicia, with an established office in A Coruña that continues to enhance its technical, operational, and talent capacities.
Local Talent and Educational Collaboration
The commitment to Galicia is also reflected in the active collaboration with Galician universities and vocational training centers, a pathway to attract and develop talent in cybersecurity, a sector increasingly requiring specialized profiles. This strategy aims not only to strengthen the local ecosystem but also to generate sustainable professional opportunities in the technology field.
CyberHub Galicia thus positions itself as a key tool for anticipating digital threats affecting public and private organizations. Its regionalized and transversal approach will enable the design of more effective responses, tailored to the real context of each territory.
With this new initiative, Minsait Cyber consolidates its leadership as a national reference in cybersecurity and reinforces its role in empowering the digital and technological landscape in Spain. The company invites all stakeholders involved in defending the Galician cyberspace to join this collaborative project to build a safer and more resilient digital environment together.
