Megaport Limited, the leading global provider of Network as a Service (NaaS), has announced a significant expansion in Europe with the addition of 14 new data center locations in seven countries, further solidifying its operations through strategic partnerships with Portus Data Centers, NorthC Data Centers, and Sipartech. This expansion will allow Megaport to strengthen its network on the continent, improving connectivity options for its customers and enabling access to a wide ecosystem of cloud services and data centers.
Expanding Across Europe and New Partnerships
Megaport’s new locations are spread across seven key European countries and are complemented by strategic partnerships that enhance the company’s ability to deliver high-quality connectivity services. In Germany, Megaport has collaborated with Portus Data Centers to launch a new Point of Presence (PoP) in Munich. This move will enable customers of both companies to access enhanced connectivity in the heart of Central Europe, a crucial market for data center operations.
In the Netherlands, Megaport has strengthened its collaboration with NorthC Data Centers by opening a second PoP at NorthC’s data center in Almere, located in the Amsterdam metropolitan area. This new PoP complements the existing one in Oude Meer, solidifying Megaport’s position in the region and allowing its customers to enjoy even broader and more efficient connectivity.
Meanwhile, the partnership with Sipartech, a provider of high-speed connectivity solutions, enables Megaport to expand its network in France and other European capitals. Sipartech provides last-mile connectivity, significantly improving Megaport’s customers’ access to key infrastructure in Western Europe.
