Kyndryl introduces the New Threat Insights service for AWS.

Kyndryl, the IT services company, has announced today the availability of the managed service Kyndryl Threat Insights on Amazon Security Lake. This service automatically centralizes an organization’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment data, providing customers with greater visibility and improving the identification, mitigation, and response to cybersecurity risks.

This announcement strengthens the strong collaboration between Kyndryl and AWS, who have worked together to invest and innovate in creating differentiated and scalable security and resilience offerings. Kyndryl Threat Insights centralizes data and applies advanced analytics, offering an in-depth view that is not possible with disparate and isolated security strategies.

The integration of Kyndryl Threat Insights with Amazon Security Lake allows organizations to manage their security data more effectively, significantly improving their ability to detect and respond to threats. This solution not only facilitates better protection against cyber risks but also optimizes security resources by centralizing and simplifying data management.

With this new offering, Kyndryl and AWS continue their commitment to providing companies with robust and scalable solutions that strengthen their security and resilience in an increasingly complex and challenging digital environment.

Through the service, Kyndryl offers customers options to achieve:

– Greater cyber resilience: the use of an integrated approach that combines security and resilience enhances the customer’s ability to anticipate, protect, withstand, and recover from digital and technological incidents. The service strengthens an organization’s ability to better anticipate and protect against cyber threats and critical operational disruptions.

– Increased visibility and simplicity to mitigate cybersecurity risk: mitigating threats is a key challenge as digital assets transform and grow in complexity to meet business objectives. Through the service, customers use a single-pane view of their security and resilience risks. This helps accelerate their decision-making capabilities for faster contingency detection based on intelligence and more effective and informed response.

– Security operations, including intelligence-driven analysis powered by artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML): anomaly detection with enhanced threat intelligence, along with AI/ML-based analysis, enables the service to assess security data, provide insights, and prioritize investigation. This results in actionable security information that allows customers to benefit from an integrated approach for increased detection and automated response, while also enhancing customer compliance initiatives.

“Security leaders understand that cyber incidents are inevitable, and know that having enough visibility to trigger a quick response is essential,” says Michelle Weston, VP of Security and Resilience at Kyndryl. “By combining Kyndryl’s deep cybersecurity expertise with the benefits of Amazon Security Lake, we can address the urgent need for an integrated approach to security and resilience, empowering our customers not only to anticipate and protect against threats but also to withstand and recover quickly.”
