Kit Consulting: aid, deadlines, and requirements for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Spanish Government, through the entity Red.es, has launched the Kit Consulting program aimed at helping SMEs hire specialized and personalized digital advisory services. With an investment of 300 million euros from European funds, this program aims to reach 15,000 companies with 10 to 250 employees, continuing the work of the Kit Digital, which has been operational since 2022.

Application and Deadlines

The deadline for submitting applications will begin on June 18th at 11 a.m. and will be open until December 31st of this year. Applications must be made through the Red.es electronic headquarters.

Amount of Vouchers

The amount of the digital advisory voucher varies according to the size of the company:
– 12,000 euros for companies with 10 to fewer than 50 employees.
– 18,000 euros for companies with 50 to fewer than 100 employees.
– 24,000 euros for companies with 100 to fewer than 250 employees.
The segmentation will be based on the number of workers registered with Social Security in the 12 months prior to the application.

Advisory Services

The Kit Consulting will finance up to 10 types of advisory services, including:
– Advice on artificial intelligence.
– Advice on data analysis (basic and advanced).
– Advice on digital sales.
– Business or production process advice.
– Advice on business strategy and performance.
– Basic, advanced, and certification preparation cybersecurity advice.
– “360” advice on digital transformation.
Each service will have a maximum subsidy amount of 6,000 euros and a minimum of 100 hours of work.

Selection and Justification Procedure

Once it is verified that the company meets the requirements, the digital advisory voucher will be granted. Beneficiary SMEs can consult the catalog of services and digital advisors at www.acelerapyme.es, selecting the services that best suit their needs. Advisors will receive payment once the service provision is justified through Red.es.
The service provision agreement must be signed and validated within three months of receiving the aid. The digital advisor will have three months to provide the service and five months to justify the work done.

Requirements for Digital Advisors

Digital advisors can join the program at any time. They must have billed at least 100,000 euros in the year before applying for entry or have an average income above that threshold in the last three fiscal years, in addition to being up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations and having their tax residence in an EU country.

Requirements for Kit Consulting Beneficiaries

SMEs wishing to apply for these grants must meet requirements similar to those of the Kit Digital, such as not being in crisis and being up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations.

This new program represents a significant opportunity for Spanish SMEs to improve their competitiveness and operational efficiency through the adoption of advanced technologies and specialized advice, thus strengthening their position in the digital market.
