Kaspersky sets new record in independent cybersecurity tests.

Kaspersky products have reached a new milestone in the cybersecurity industry in 2023, leading in 94% of the independent tests they participated in. The company excelled in the TOP3 metric, securing the number one spot in 93 out of 100 evaluations and ranking among the top three in 94 instances, the best result to date for the company.

The TOP3 metric is an indicator that measures the success of providers in comparative independent tests throughout the year. It includes results from renowned laboratories such as AV-Comparatives, AV-TEST, and SE Labs, providing a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness, innovation, and quality of security solutions.

Among Kaspersky’s notable achievements in 2023 is the “Product of the Year” award bestowed by AV-Comparatives on Kaspersky Standard, part of the company’s new consumer portfolio. This product not only received the top Advanced+ award in all seven tests conducted but was also recognized for offering the best combination of protection, performance, and low false positive rates.

Furthermore, Kaspersky Plus for Windows showed exceptional efficacy in the SE Labs Endpoint Security: Home 2023 test, achieving a perfect 100% accuracy rating. On the other hand, Kaspersky Safe Kids was certified by AV-Comparatives in the Parental Control Certification category, successfully blocking at least 98% of pornographic websites without significant errors.

The event also marked the signing of significant agreements, such as the memorandum of understanding with SCOPE Middle East, enabling the distribution of Kaspersky Thin Client 2.0 in key Middle Eastern markets.

In the corporate sphere, Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Expert (KEDRE) received multiple accolades, standing out in the AV-Comparatives Endpoint Prevention & Response (EPR) test for its incident response effectiveness. Additionally, the solution was awarded the AV-TEST Advanced Endpoint Detection and Response Approved certification.

Kaspersky not only led in terms of endpoint security but also excelled in protecting enterprise environments and small offices, with Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business and Kaspersky Small Office garnering the highest ratings in all relevant tests.

“Participating in a wide range of rigorous tests throughout the year not only demonstrates our commitment to excellence but also validates our ability to meet and exceed modern digital security expectations,” remarked Alexander Liskin, Head of Threat Analysis at Kaspersky.

With these results, Kaspersky reaffirms its leadership in the industry, setting high standards in protection against cyber threats and strengthening its position as one of the most reliable and effective cybersecurity solution providers in the world.
