Juniper Networks and ServiceNow Integrate AI-Driven Network Automation to Accelerate Managed Services at Deutsche Telekom

The alliance allows Deutsche Telekom to reduce deployment times and operational costs with a unified solution based on artificial intelligence and automation.

As part of a strong commitment to intelligent network automation, Juniper Networks and ServiceNow have announced the expansion of their technological collaboration by integrating their platforms to create a unique service management and network automation solution. This innovation is already being used by Deutsche Telekom (DT) to enhance the efficiency and added value of its managed services for businesses.

The solution combines the AI-native Juniper Mist™ network platform with ServiceNow Telecom Service Management, enabling service providers to manage wired, wireless, and SD-WAN networks from a unified, programmable interface that is 100% API-based. The result: end-to-end automation, from provisioning to incident resolution, with a direct impact on reducing time, costs, and errors.

Deutsche Telekom accelerates time to value with total automation

Deutsche Telekom has already implemented these capabilities within its Secure Networking for Enterprise portfolio. According to the company, this integration has accelerated customer value delivery, positioning it as a differentiated success story in the managed service provider (MSP) market.

Niklas Horstmann, Vice President responsible for the Secure Networking area at Telekom Deutschland, emphasized:

“This solution allows us to configure and deploy our managed services with maximum reliability, thanks to the leading automation of Juniper and ServiceNow. Additionally, the use of AIOps significantly enhances the end-user experience.”

Automation at all levels of operation

Thanks to this integration, operators can automate essential tasks in the network lifecycle (Day 0, 1, and 2+), such as:

  • Automatic onboarding of devices and services.
  • Visibility of assets and performance.
  • Order and sales management.
  • Automatic ticketing and intelligent incident resolution.
  • Real-time fault detection with artificial intelligence.

According to Sunalini Sankhavaram, Vice President of Product at Juniper Networks:

“We are redefining the future of network automation for MSPs, transforming complexity into simplicity and speed into competitive advantage.”

Meanwhile, Rohit Batra, Vice President of ServiceNow for telecommunications industries, underscores:

“This collaboration accelerates end-to-end network automation, reducing deployment times and costs, while generating consistent value for enterprise customers.”

Measurable results and immediate availability

ServiceNow, which already uses Juniper Mist technology for its own corporate network, has reported a 60% reduction in network costs, a 90% decrease in wireless incidents, and a 50% improvement in deployment speed.

The joint solution is available today in the ServiceNow Store and includes specific connectors such as the Service Graph Connector for Juniper Mist and the provisioning application.
