Joao Silva, new Vice President for EMEA and Latin America at Pure Storage

The company Pure Storage has announced Joao Silva as Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America. Based in the UK, Joao will oversee all sales-related activities, strive to increase market share, and help Pure’s customers modernize their data management infrastructure.

Joao Silva brings more than three decades of experience in the sector, with eleven years within Pure Storage’s structure. This experience enables him to drive the company’s growth in EMEA and Latin America.

Pure Storage’s Market Drive

According to IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Enterprise Storage Systems Tracker for the fourth quarter of 2023, Pure Storage had the second-highest growth rate in the EMEA region, with 25.8%, compared to a market growth of only 2%. The external original equipment manufacturers market in the EMEA region is expected to grow to $9.5 billion by 2028.

Customers like Virgin Media O2, the British Army, THG, Credit Agricole, DFKZ, and Weiling already use Pure’s solutions to achieve their business goals.
