IONOS Introduces a New High-Performance GPU Server with NVIDIA Blackwell Technology

IONOS, a European company specializing in digitization and cloud services, has announced the launch of the IP4-50 GPU, a new dedicated server specifically designed for artificial intelligence applications. This equipment incorporates the Blackwell architecture through the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 card, which features 96 GB of VRAM.

The new server is aimed at companies requiring high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities for demanding tasks such as AI model development, 3D rendering, or advanced scientific simulations. Additionally, it addresses the growing demand for solutions that ensure GDPR compliance and provide a fully sovereign hosting environment within data centers located in Europe.

High-performance computing: a pillar of the Momentum ecosystem

The launch of the IP4-50 GPU server is part of the Momentum initiative, IONOS’s new AI ecosystem, aimed at democratizing access to the most advanced AI technology. Thanks to its purely physical “bare metal” architecture, users benefit from the full hardware performance without virtualization overhead, which is crucial for demanding AI applications like training and deploying large language models (LLMs).

Technical specifications and flexible pricing

The dedicated GPU server boasts impressive technical features:

  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 (Blackwell Server Edition) with 96 GB of VRAM, optimized for large datasets and AI models.
  • CPU: Dual Intel Xeon 6517P with 32 cores and clock speeds from 3.2 GHz to 4.2 GHz.
  • RAM: 256 GB of DDR5 ECC RAM.
  • Storage: 2 x 1,920 GB NVMe SSD in HW RAID 1 configuration.

The pricing model is flexible, giving customers complete control over costs with a pay-as-you-go format: the rate is charged at 1.6528 euros per hour. There is also a maximum flat monthly fee of 1,190 euros, which is particularly advantageous for long-term AI training projects.

The IP4-50 GPU server is hosted in IONOS’s secure and sovereign European data centers, ensuring that sensitive customer data remains under strict European jurisdiction. Additionally, IONOS complies 100% with GDPR.
