Interview with Albert Pallejà: Kaizen Establishes Itself as a Leader in AI Applied to the Business Environment

At RevistaCloud.com, we had the opportunity to attend the course “AI Accelerator: Practical AI Workshop for SMEs,” organized by Kaizen, a renowned Salesforce consulting company that has particularly excelled in the practical and effective application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Spanish business sector over the past two years.

We spoke with Albert Pallejà, General Director of Kaizen, to understand how this company has become the go-to Salesforce Partner in Spain for AgentForce, Salesforce’s AI agent.

RevistaCloud.com: Albert, to start, tell us how Kaizen was founded and what your vision is as a Salesforce Partner.

Albert Pallejà: Kaizen was born with the clear mission of digitally transforming Spanish companies, especially SMEs and mid-sized businesses. We have always bet on Salesforce as our main platform because it is undoubtedly the world leader in cloud business management. Our vision is to provide real value, not just through technological implementation, but by fostering a cultural shift toward continuous innovation, which is exactly what our name reflects: Kaizen.

RevistaCloud.com: Over the past few years, you have made a strong commitment to AI. What initiatives have you developed to become experts in this field?

Albert Pallejà: Several years ago, we made the strategic decision to specialize in Artificial Intelligence, understanding that it would be key to the future competitiveness of Spanish companies.

We began by creating a department dedicated exclusively to researching and implementing AI solutions, especially those offered by Salesforce. This involved a significant investment in training our team and direct collaboration with Salesforce to ensure deep and up-to-date knowledge.

We have carried out very specific initiatives, such as practical seminars, workshops with real clients, open webinars, and especially specialized courses like the “AI Accelerator,” to train Spanish SMEs and mid-sized businesses in the practical and tangible application of AI in their daily processes. The idea was clear: to demonstrate that AI is not just for large companies but a powerful tool within reach of any business.

RevistaCloud.com: In fact, at RevistaCloud.com, we participated in your recent course “AI Accelerator” on applied AI. What would you say has been the key to the success of these training sessions?

Albert Pallejà: I believe the success of these training sessions stems from their highly practical nature and their adaptation to the real needs of Spanish companies. We quickly understood that most SMEs and mid-sized businesses need to see immediate results and understand how AI can solve specific, everyday problems.

That’s why our courses are not theoretical but fully oriented to the Spanish business reality, showcasing success stories and providing step-by-step guides for implementing AI solutions.

The reality is that employees in companies are already using Artificial Intelligence, with or without the company’s approval. It benefits everyone to train on how to use it correctly and how to incorporate it into daily processes.

Albert Pallejà: Of course. We recently implemented AgentForce for a major hotel chain with over 100 hotels in Spain and also for a well-known supermarket chain with more than 600 stores nationwide. While they may not be SMEs, the applied cases can be replicated in companies of all sizes.
