Ingecom Ignition, a company of Exclusive Networks and a Value Added Distributor (VAD) specialized in cybersecurity solutions, has announced a distribution agreement with Cyber Guru, a leading Italian company in cybersecurity training programs. This agreement will allow Ingecom Ignition to distribute Cyber Guru’s solutions in Spain and Portugal, focusing on improving cyber awareness and reducing the impact of human factors in cyber attacks.
With the growing increase in cybercrime, of which 74% is estimated to be caused by human errors, Cyber Guru’s training platform aims to prepare employees of public and private companies to identify and react to cyber threats. The training offered by Cyber Guru covers three key areas: knowledge, perception of danger, and response capability, essential for strengthening defense against cyber attacks.
Mar Sánchez Caro, Business Development Manager of Cyber Guru in Iberia, commented: “We are very excited about this collaboration agreement, which comes at a crucial time for Cyber Guru in Spain. Ingecom’s experience will help us expand our impact in the public and private sectors, as we continue to advance our mission of reducing human risk in cybersecurity.”
Three Training Methodologies: Cognitive, Inductive, and Experiential
Cyber Guru stands out for using advanced andragogical (adult-oriented) training methodologies, implemented through three main programs:
– Cyber Guru Awareness: A cognitive training itinerary based on theoretical lessons, where users learn about the types of threats and how to face them. Through virtual micro-lessons, employees gradually and continuously acquire knowledge.
– Cyber Guru Channel: This program uses an inductive methodology based on narrative videos, similar to television series. Users learn by identifying with real scenarios showing major cyber threats, helping them understand how these attacks could personally affect them or their organizations.
– Cyber Guru Phishing: Focused on experience, this program uses an artificial intelligence model that offers personalized phishing simulations for users, adapting to each one’s previous knowledge. This allows effective and adaptive training against one of the most common tactics of cybercriminals.
Minimizing Human Risk
The alliance with Ingecom Ignition comes at a time when the European Union’s NIS2 Directive requires organizations to pay greater attention to risk management in information security. This agreement will enable companies to comply with new regulations and improve their ability to respond to cyber incidents.
Carlos Marcos, Account Manager & Head of Cyberintelligence Unit at Ingecom Ignition, stated: “This strategic collaboration with Cyber Guru will allow us to offer our clients effective solutions to manage human risk. At a time when companies must comply with the NIS2 Directive, it is essential that they have tools to help them manage risks and improve their digital resilience.”
Cyber Awareness, a Global Priority
The announcement of this agreement coincides with the Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a global initiative that seeks to raise awareness among organizations and employees about the importance of maintaining secure practices in the digital environment. The alliance between Ingecom Ignition and Cyber Guru reinforces this commitment and aims to offer companies in Spain and Portugal the necessary tools to mitigate risks and create a safer cyber environment.
Cyber Guru’s innovative and personalized approach is particularly relevant in a context where cybersecurity is no longer just a technological issue, but a human challenge.
