The company strengthens its technological, operational, and international areas by promoting internal talent to key positions
As part of its strategic plan Leading the Future, Indra Group has announced a significant reorganization of its management structure, effective June 26. This move aims to enhance the group’s technological capabilities and solidify its position as a key player in sectors such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and IT services, both in the civil and military domains.
The new organization includes four executives appointed to the Executive Committee of the group:
- Luis Fernández Hernando will be the new CEO of Minsait, Indra’s technology services unit.
- Sebastián Bamonde Bermúdez de Castro takes on the role of CEO of Tech Operations.
- Pedro Rodríguez Veiga has been named International CEO.
- Ignacio Martínez González will lead the newly created business unit IndraMind as CEO.
Commitment to Cross-functionality and Innovation
The company has communicated that Minsait will maintain its current focus as a provider of IT services driven by vertical markets while strengthening the sophistication of its offerings and operational efficiency. To achieve this, it will be supported by Tech Operations, which will become a cross-functional unit serving the entire group.
The new International Model aims to strategically align commercial activities across all the regions where Indra operates, reinforcing risk oversight and ensuring consistency in global expansion.
One of the main innovations is the launch of IndraMind, a strategic unit that will consolidate the group’s capabilities in cybersecurity, cyber defense, artificial intelligence, product development, and cloud services, including companies like Paradigma. Its mission will be to establish itself as a leading European technology platform with a dual focus (civil and military).
Profiles with Extensive Internal and International Experience
Luis Fernández, the new head of Minsait, has over 25 years of experience in developing solutions for public administrations. Since joining Indra in 2005, he has held various executive roles, following a previous career at PwC and Arthur Andersen.
Sebastián Bamonde, who will lead Tech Operations, has directed Minsait’s operational transformation, achieving improvements in margins and efficiency. His previous experience at companies such as Tecnocom and Softgal gives him deep knowledge in business management and IT services.

Pedro Rodríguez, head of international operations, has led Indra’s expansion in Latin America, Italy, and Portugal, as well as managing election processes. With over 25 years of international experience, he has held significant positions in sectors such as energy, healthcare, and public administration.

Ignacio Martínez, who will lead IndraMind, has previously headed the President’s Office and the CEO’s office. He led the Mobility area and has worked at INECO and HR Wallingford, combining technical expertise and business vision.
A Technology-Centric Roadmap
With this new structure, Indra reinforces its execution capacity in a high-demand technological environment, where both the public and private sectors require advanced solutions for digitization, cybersecurity, and automation. The creation of IndraMind and the strengthening of Minsait and Tech Operations respond to the need for a more integrated, agile, and growth-oriented model.
The reorganization, backed by the Board of Directors and its appointments and compensation committees, highlights the group’s commitment to internal talent as the cornerstone of its future transformation.
