HPE Aruba Networking leads cybersecurity innovation with AI tools at RSA Conference 2024.

In a world where artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming an essential component in multiple fields, the risk of cyber threats related to this technology is also increasing. In response to this challenge, HPE Aruba Networking has announced at the RSA Conference 2024 their strategy to combat cyber risks generated by AI with new AI-driven network security and observability tools. This approach reinforces their Zero Trust security arsenal, protecting valuable AI assets from the edge to the cloud.

With the implementation of HPE GreenLake in collaboration with integrated innovations from Axis Security, HPE Aruba Networking is establishing what HPE CEO Antonio Neri has described as “the industry’s most comprehensive edge portfolio.” This combination proposes a consistent security framework with SASE, integrating connectivity and firewall elements with ZTNA, CASB, and SWG, managed comprehensively.

The importance of integrating security into network infrastructure has been a cornerstone for the company since its inception, and it has doubled down on its edge-to-cloud security efforts since the acquisition of Axis. The network, now powered by AI, enables security teams to proactively protect AI data, models, and applications that are increasingly targets of attacks in enterprises.

Operationally, HPE Aruba Networking is implementing AIops to develop automatic network profiles, enabling more detailed and continuous analysis of connected devices and detecting unusual behaviors or threats. This approach not only facilitates more precise and automated identification but also allows for the detection of anomalies that may indicate compromises and attacks.

Furthermore, the new Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) capability within HPE Aruba Networking SSE expands protection wherever data and devices are located, without the cost or complexity of a physical device. This is complemented by extended security controls that now include cloud protections, increasing the flexibility, scalability, and performance of security solutions.

In the realm of digital transformation and security, Bethesda Health Group has adopted HPE Aruba Networking’s fully delivered cloud-native Secure Service Edge (SASE) platform. According to Michael Keller, Chief Information Technology Officer at Bethesda Health Group, “HPE Aruba Networking SSE provides us with the necessary cybersecurity protections to build a powerful and unified SASE platform that helps advance our cloud-first goals.”

This year, at the RSA Conference, HPE Aruba Networking will not only demonstrate how their AI-powered security-first approach can protect valuable AI assets but also showcase how it can enable distinctive experiences.
