Grupo Castilla announces its entry into Coocrea at the MWC24.

In a strategic move that promises to transform the talent management landscape in Spain, Grupo Castilla, a national leader in knowledge services and technological solutions in people management, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Coocrea, a prominent company specializing in endomarketing and learning. With this acquisition, Grupo Castilla strengthens its position in the market and expands its service portfolio, consolidating its 360º focus on talent management.

Founded in 2012, Coocrea has experienced significant growth, closing 2023 with revenues of 2.5 million euros and a 40% increase from the previous year. Its team of 25 professionals has been instrumental in serving renowned clients such as CaixaBank, Meliá, Banco Santander, and Danone. The addition of Coocrea to Grupo Castilla not only enhances the group’s capabilities in endomarketing and training but also retains Coocrea’s identity and team to boost the Talent Services area.

Carles Castilla, CEO of Grupo Castilla, highlights the acquisition as a strategic alliance that combines knowledge and technology, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining Coocrea’s identity and team to strengthen the group’s Talent Services area. On the other hand, José Javier Rego, CEO of Coocrea, celebrates the union as a formula for guaranteed success, emphasizing Grupo Castilla’s arrival at a crucial growth moment for Coocrea.

The collaboration between Grupo Castilla and Coocrea promises significant innovations in talent management services. Josean Ascarza, director of Talent Services at Grupo Castilla, anticipates the integration of a new training module that will include an advanced e-learning platform, with a wide range of courses designed to develop soft skills and automated onboarding functionality.

Francisco Romero, Coocrea’s business development director, sees the alliance as an opportunity to scale the business and enhance the Talent Services area, with the goal of achieving a turnover of 10 million euros in this line by 2026. This vision aligns with Grupo Castilla’s Strategic Plan, which aims to achieve a turnover of 45 million euros in 2026, expanding its human team to 500 professionals and becoming an HCM Cloud Provider for 100% of its technology clients.

Grupo Castilla’s acquisition of Coocrea marks a milestone in talent management in Spain, offering companies innovative and personalized solutions for the development of their teams. With this strategic alliance, Grupo Castilla not only expands its service offerings but also consolidates its leadership in the people management market, promising a new era of comprehensive solutions in human resources.
