Grupo Aire Enters a New Phase with the Appointment of Javier Polo Escriña as CEO

The Aire Group, a leading provider in wholesale telecommunications, cloud, and UCaaS services, has announced a significant change in its management structure: Javier Polo Escriña is joining the company as the new CEO. The announcement, shared by the company via LinkedIn, marks the beginning of a phase of renewal and ambition in its growth strategy.

Polo Escriña has a vast background in the technology and telecommunications sector. With over two decades of experience, he has held high-responsibility positions in key companies on both national and international levels, including:

  • He was the Director of Strategic Planning at Amena, one of the pioneering operators in Spain.
  • He led the marketing and go-to-market areas at Orange, both in business and residential segments.
  • At PlayGiga, he led the company until it became the first Spanish tech firm acquired by Meta (Facebook).
  • Most recently, he served as CEO of Grupo AIA, which specializes in AI solutions for businesses.

This new leadership represents a strategic reinforcement for the Aire Group in its main lines of business: wholesale telecommunications, cloud services, and unified communications as a service (UCaaS). According to the company, Javier Polo’s arrival will accelerate growth and drive innovation, aligning technological vision with market needs.

For his part, Raúl Aledo Coy, who has been instrumental in the group’s growth since its founding, will continue as non-executive chairman, ensuring strategic continuity and reinforcing the institutional and technological role of the Aire Group in this new phase.

With this restructuring, the Aire Group solidifies its commitment to leading in B2B technology solutions at a crucial time for digital infrastructure transformation in Spain and Europe.
