Gainsight strengthens its presence in Europe with a new data center in Germany for its customer-focused AI platform

The expansion enables greater regulatory compliance, optimized performance, and security for deploying artificial intelligence in European companies.

The tech company Gainsight, specialized in customer retention solutions, has announced the opening of a new data center in the European Union, specifically in Germany. This infrastructure reinforces their commitment to growth in the EMEA region and allows for the secure and GDPR-compliant deployment of their AI platform, Staircase AI, one of the tools in their Atlas agent suite.

With this new data center on European soil, Gainsight aims to provide regional businesses with an AI-driven customer intelligence solution that meets the highest standards for data residency, privacy, and performance, thereby aligning with continental regulations.

“Companies are no longer looking for generic AI models but for operational agents they can trust and scale globally,” explained Ori Entis, Senior Vice President of Product, Customer Success, and AI at Gainsight.

European-Compliant Customer Intelligence

Thanks to this expansion, Gainsight offers its European clients full access to Staircase AI capabilities, now available through local hosting, which reduces latency and enhances system performance. This setup facilitates enterprise-scale AI projects that are fully GDPR-compliant and supported by a scalable infrastructure ready for large multinational organizations.

The solution is particularly significant in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, education, and financial services, where data privacy and localization are critical factors. Notably, Staircase AI features automatic anonymization of personally identifiable information (PII), proactively removing sensitive data like emails, bank card details, or medical histories before they enter the system.

International Certifications and Cutting-Edge Security

Aligning with their strategy of providing ethical and secure AI, Gainsight announced that their platform now holds ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 certifications, recognized for establishing international best practices in information security management and AI governance.

These certifications bolster confidence in the solution, which automates tasks such as account monitoring, detecting churn signals or expansion opportunities, and collecting feedback through multiple customer contact points.

Atlas AI Agents: Role-Specific AI

The new data center also supports the deployment of Atlas AI Agents, a series of intelligent agents designed specifically to accompany customers throughout their lifecycle—from onboarding through contract renewal and risk management. According to Gainsight, these agents do not replace human teams but instead complement them with automation and scalability, all while maintaining a personalized touch.

With this expansion, Gainsight continues to advance its vision of AI focused on customer retention, capable of adapting to diverse, complex, and demanding business environments.

Upcoming Seminar: Secure AI in Action

To demonstrate the practical application of their tools, the company is organizing an online seminar on July 29, 2025, at 2:30 PM (GMT+1), titled Turn Data into Action: How CS Teams Can Leverage AI to Drive Growth, featuring Ori Entis and Strath Lanyon, Chief Client Success Officer at Xceptor.
