Duos Edge AI Accelerates Connectivity in Texas with Three New Edge Data Centers

Duos Edge AI, a subsidiary of Duos Technologies Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DUOT), has announced the acquisition and upcoming implementation of three new Edge Data Centers (EDCs) in Texas. These centers, built in collaboration with Accu-Tech, will provide low-latency connectivity and fast internet access to remote communities in Texas, especially benefiting schools and public entities facing challenges in this area.

The swift implementation of these EDCs has been made possible through a financing agreement that highlights Duos Edge AI’s ability to respond quickly to demand in underserved areas. These data centers will not only increase access to modern digital resources but also boost economic development in the region.

“Getting these centers operational ahead of schedule is a milestone for Duos Edge AI, and underscores our commitment to equipping rural communities with the infrastructure they need to thrive,” said Doug Recker, president of Duos Edge AI. “I appreciate our financial partner and the finance team at Duos for swiftly negotiating this agreement, which has allowed us to meet the growing demand for these solutions.”

A Strategic Deployment to Transform Digital Infrastructure in Texas

The three EDCs will be operational by the first quarter of 2025 and represent a key step in the digital transformation of Texas. Aiming to have up to 15 units operational by the end of 2025, Duos Edge AI seeks to make an impact across diverse sectors, providing scalable and adaptive solutions that address the changing needs of rural areas.

The EDCs from Duos Edge AI are designed to provide edge computing services, a technology that enables data processing closer to users, thereby reducing latency and improving real-time responsiveness. This is crucial for applications in education, healthcare, and rural industrial sectors where quick access to information and reliable connectivity are essential.

An Innovative Model for the Future of Connectivity

The proximity of the EDCs to users, with locations less than 20 kilometers away, provides significantly faster access compared to traditional data centers. Furthermore, these centers are equipped to offer up to 100 kW of capacity per cabinet and ensure continuous data services 24/7.

With this expansion in Texas, Duos Edge AI reaffirms its mission to bring advanced technology to communities with infrastructure limitations, enhancing access to digital services that will transform residents’ lives and promote economic development. Duos Edge AI’s investment in edge data centers allows for efficient processing of large volumes of information with less capital investment than conventional data centers.

A Boost for Public-Private Collaboration in Digitization

The introduction of these EDCs exemplifies how collaboration between the private sector and public entities can bridge the digital divide in areas with limited access. By strengthening connectivity infrastructure in Texas, Duos Edge AI contributes to regional development and responds to the growing demand for essential digital services in rural communities.
