Cyber immunity emerges as the future of digital security.

In Dubai, from April 17th to 19th, cybersecurity experts, scientists, and business leaders from over 20 countries gathered at the first international conference on cyber immunity organized by Kaspersky. The event, called the Kaspersky Cyber Immunity Conference 2024, provided a platform to explore the future of the digital age and discuss the evolving landscape of cyber threats.

During the conference, a ceremony was held to recognize the first “Cyber Immunity Champions,” an award that celebrates pioneering efforts in the field of cyber immunity. This approach, according to experts, not only protects against known cyber threats but also adapts to defend against unknown ones, providing an integrated solution from the design phase of IT systems.

Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of the company, highlighted the trajectory and evolution of cyber immunity: “22 years ago we started with a visionary idea that transformed into a methodology, then into our own operating system and product portfolio, and now, it is expanding as a community of recognized experts.”

In addition, Kaspersky took advantage of the event to launch its updated product, Kaspersky Thin Client 2.0, designed to enhance the security of remote work infrastructures. Significant improvements in connectivity and performance make this product an efficient solution for companies with operations in multiple locations. As part of its expansion strategy, Kaspersky signed a memorandum of understanding with SCOPE Middle East to distribute this product in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

Fadi AbuEkab, CEO of SCOPE Middle East, commented on the collaboration: “By joining forces with Kaspersky, we are strengthening digital defenses in the Middle East. This partnership marks the beginning of a new era in cyber resilience for businesses in the region.”

The memoranda of understanding were not limited to product distribution. Kaspersky also established agreements with Moro Hub in the United Arab Emirates and Favoriot in Malaysia to promote cyber immunity in fields such as industrial IoT.

The conference concluded with a special ceremony where the Cyber Immunity Champions were honored, recognized for their early adoption and successful implementation of this methodology in the context of global digital transformation. Among the honorees were entities from various parts of the world such as ARC Advisory Group, Aswant Distribution, and Boll Engineering, demonstrating the global reach of the initiative.

Cyber immunity is poised to be a cornerstone for the future of digital security, with Kaspersky at the forefront of this revolution. Those interested in following updates about the Cyber Immunity Conference can visit the official website.
