Cristina Caamiña, new director of the Value Centers in Granada and Reus at T-Systems Iberia

T-Systems Iberia, the digitalization services division of Deutsche Telekom Group, has appointed Cristina Caamiña as the new director of the value centers (GDC) in Granada and Reus, two strategic enclaves for the company’s expansion in the Iberian Peninsula. In her new role, Caamiña will enhance innovation projects, Cloud, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced data analytics for clients worldwide, improving productivity, competitiveness, and business results for T-Systems customers.

With great organizational and management skills, Cristina will lead a team of approximately 1,000 people and will be part of the Board Management of T-Systems Iberia and the Global Delivery Centers (GDC) Management Committee, an organization focused on talent development that provides services in multiple countries worldwide.

Caamiña has a degree in Telematics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and has studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Centro Universitario La Salle. Among her academic achievements, she also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from EADA Business School and in Digital Transformation and Innovation from INSEAD. In addition, the executive has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, leading teams in roles of responsibility within T Systems. She started as Head of Service Desk, followed by Head of Desktop Services. She then led the Solution Design unit, and spearheaded the development of the portfolio within both the Cloud & Security unit and T Systems Iberia.

Her experience in service provision, Nearshore operations, process control, digital transformation, and operations management, combined with her leadership skills, motivates her employees’ daily work and contributes to driving the development, injection of innovation, and growth of T-Systems Iberia. “In this new position, we will work with an open leadership style, empowering and motivating employees, creating diverse spaces open to dialogue and communication, while also guiding employees to bring out the best in themselves. We want to move away from hierarchical mandates and set aside authority to embrace authenticity and become role models,” explains Caamiña.

The executive will also strengthen relationships with the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona and the University of Granada to enhance training projects in technologies that are in high demand globally today. In this way, Caamiña will continue T-Systems’ commitment to creating quality employment, promoting young talent, and building multicultural teams that provide a global view of the world and its challenges.

Through her strategic vision, empathetic abilities, and results-driven orientation, Cristina will contribute to the sustained double-digit growth that T-Systems has experienced in recent years and position the value centers as technological innovation leaders.
