Commvault Names Darren Thomson as CTO for EMEAI
Commvault, a leading provider of cyber resilience and data protection solutions for hybrid environments, has announced the appointment of Darren Thomson as its new Field Chief Technology Officer for EMEA & India (EMEAI). This appointment adds to the company’s expert team of CTOs, which, with Commvault’s new cyber resilience offerings, is shaping a new era of data protection with industry-leading threat detection capabilities and rapid recovery.
Thomson brings over 30 years of experience in the technology industry to this role, with extensive technical and leadership skills, business vision, and extensive experience in managing global teams and projects in high-growth environments. Thomson joins Commvault after leading the product marketing organization at the identity and access management company, One Identity. Prior to that, he helped shape the cyber insurance industry through his work at CyberCube and Lloyds of London. He previously worked for several years at Symantec and Veritas in high-level executive roles.
