With a solid international background, the new Head of Real Estate Development will drive Colt Data Centre Services’ growth strategy in Europe, the UK, and Asia-Pacific.
Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), a global provider of data center infrastructure for enterprises and hyperscale clients, has announced the appointment of Xavier Matagne as the new Chief Real Estate Officer (CREO). In this role, Matagne will lead the company’s Development, Engineering, and Construction divisions at a crucial time for its international expansion.
With over 17 years of experience in the data center sector, Matagne has held global executive positions and led large-scale infrastructure projects in Europe and Africa. His addition represents a strategic step in Colt DCS’s ambitious roadmap, aiming to reach 1 GW of operational capacity in the coming years.
A Global Profile for Strategic Expansion
Before joining Colt DCS, Matagne served as the Chief Development Officer at Africa Data Centres, where he oversaw the expansion strategy across multiple African markets. His experience spans over 15 countries, including France, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Poland, and South Africa, with a strong reputation for his innovative approach and ability to execute complex projects efficiently and strategically.
