In a continuous effort to improve the user experience in hosting environments, CloudLinux has announced the release of its latest version: CloudLinux OS 8.10 Stable. This update represents a significant advancement in performance, security, and system stability, offering substantial improvements and new features.

Installation and Update Instructions

For those interested in installing CloudLinux OS 8.10, it can be done on a new server using the ISO image or converting an existing server with AlmaLinux 8.10 to CloudLinux 8.10. Detailed instructions are available in the official CloudLinux documentation.

As for the update, CloudLinux has initiated a gradual deployment of the updated cloudlinux-release package, which includes the necessary repository updates for version 8.10. This stable deployment process will take place over 14 days. However, those who wish to update immediately can do so manually by following these steps:

  1. Update the cloudlinux-release package from the deployment slot:
    # dnf --enablerepo=cloudlinux-rollout-4-bypass install cloudlinux-release
  2. Perform the system update:
    # dnf update

In approximately 14 days, CloudLinux OS 8.10 will be available in the general repository and can be updated simply using the following command:

# dnf update
