Babel, a well-known company in the technological field, has officially presented its new strategic plan called “HyperSpace 2029”. This plan, which follows the previous “Mars 2025”, aims to increase the company’s revenue from 180 million euros in 2023 to 1,000 million euros in 2029, with an EBITDA of over 12%. This ambitious goal is based on a strategy that combines an annual organic growth of around 20% with acquisitions of companies of greater volume than those made previously.
HyperSpace 2029 will focus geographically on Iberia -Spain and Portugal- and Latin America, with a special focus on key markets such as Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Costa Rica. The plan will allow Babel to position the firm among the top ten players in the IT sector in the countries where it operates. The new plan also relies on a balanced mix of cutting-edge technology expertise and a deep functional understanding of the main sectors of activity.
Among the fundamental pillars of HyperSpace 2029, innovation in exponential technologies such as Big Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Hyper-automation, Low Code, and Cloud stands out. The demand for these technologies allowed the company to grow by 47% in 2023 alone, with significantly higher profitability than more traditional technologies.
The plan also aims to consolidate Babel’s presence in the countries where it already operates through a strategy of larger acquisitions, leveraging its qualified talent and sector-specific specialization to grow solidly and steadily over the next five years. This growth will not only strengthen Babel as a comprehensive provider of technological services but will also create an ecosystem of opportunities for the more than 15,000 professionals that the company expects to have by 2029, establishing it as one of the most desirable companies to work for in the technology sector.
Additionally, a process has been initiated to find a new investment partner who shares Babel’s vision and values to accompany the firm in this new strategic phase. Rothschild & Co has been hired as a financial advisor for this process.
Since its founding in 2003, Babel has maintained a constant growth of over 20% annually, reaffirming its strength and adaptability in an ever-evolving sector. Babel’s CEO, Tony Olivo, highlighted the success of the Mars 2025 plan and expressed confidence that the new HyperSpace 2029 plan will follow the same path of success, marking a natural cycle of growth for the company.
