Ayesa acquires Emergya, accelerating its expansion in AI and Cloud with Google.

In a bold bet on technological innovation, Ayesa has solidified its position in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud computing by acquiring Emergya, a recognized partner of Google Cloud in Spain and a leader in advanced technological solutions. This strategic operation not only strengthens Ayesa’s presence as one of Google’s main allies in Europe but also marks the sixth significant corporate move of the group since the participation of A&M Capital Europe (“AMCE”), which has propelled its growth rapidly over the past two years.

Emergya, with roots in Seville since its founding in 2003 and a team of over 680 professionals, has stood out for its specialization in cloud digital product development and large-scale technological implementations, including high-caliber managed services.

This transaction expands Ayesa’s horizon in the cloud arena, enriching its service offering with cutting-edge Google solutions. At the same time, it solidifies its comprehensive offering as a technology provider, intensifying its competencies in AI, data management, and software development.

The acquisition also includes Proxya, part of the Emergya Group, focused on IT service outsourcing and technical support for both the public sector and large corporations. With its proprietary methodology, Proxya specializes in managing large-scale projects.

By integrating Emergya and Proxya, Ayesa adds renowned clients to its portfolio, including prominent companies from the IBEX 35 index in sectors as diverse as energy, infrastructure, financial services, technology, and retail, as well as various public bodies.

José Luis Manzanares Abásolo, CEO of Ayesa, highlights the added value of this merger: “The arrival of Emergya brings a stream of knowledge and positions us in a privileged place alongside Google in Europe, consolidating our position in the Spanish market and improving our valuation among customers.”

Meanwhile, Víctor Fernández, CEO of Emergya, acknowledges the growth potential and synergy established with Ayesa, pointing out the opportunity to contribute to the dynamism and innovation of the expanding project.

Ayesa is confidently advancing in its strategic growth plan, solidifying its leadership in the Spanish technological market. With the addition of Emergya, the operation, financially advised by Arcano and legally represented by Pérez-Llorca for Ayesa, and by GP Bullhound and Montero Aramburu for Emergya, is expected to successfully conclude in the coming weeks, marking a new chapter in the history of both companies.
