Atos enhances its Cloud and Generative AI training program to drive cloud migration.

Atos announces that it has achieved nearly 3,000 AWS certifications, surpassing the 2,000 certifications level at which AWS grants its partners a “Distinction Certification.” This credential is recognized in the industry and demonstrates the ability of Atos teams to design, implement, and operate applications and infrastructures on AWS.

Increasing the competencies of Atos employees in AWS technologies is one of the pillars of the CloudCatalyst program. This 5-year program between Atos and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is designed to accelerate cloud adoption for their customers. Atos experts from 24 countries have embarked on 6-month learning paths through 15 specific curricula for each position in basic AWS technologies, requiring an average of 160 hours each to complete.

In just the first year, about 2,000 Atos employees obtained certifications in cloud and generative artificial intelligence, enabling them to better serve customers on their cloud journey.

To maintain momentum, Atos and AWS launched a 4-week challenge program available to any employee. Designed to motivate and reward those who want to advance their cloud and generative AI skills, the annual program has convinced over 2,000 Atos employees who voluntarily signed up for the first wave.

Brooks Borcherding, Atos Global Head AWS Practice, said: “These training programs reinforce the deep knowledge that our teams have of our customers’ businesses and complement Atos’ proven capabilities in managed infrastructure services to provide a seamless customer experience across the cloud continuum.”
