Atos drives business transformation with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Azure OpenAI.

In an effort to accelerate business transformation, Atos has announced an expanded collaboration with Microsoft, focused on the deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). This initiative is part of a three-year investment by Atos’ Tech Foundations business line and Microsoft, aimed at developing solutions that enable organizations to securely, efficiently, and ethically harness the power of data and AI.

Strategic Collaboration Pillars

The Atos and Microsoft alliance is structured around three key pillars: solutions, co-creation, and capabilities. Atos has become one of the first companies to adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot, providing valuable feedback to Microsoft’s development teams. As a systems integrator partner, Atos is facilitating the early adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot in seven major international clients, helping them structure their data and generate value.

Solutions

Atos’ Digital Workplace portfolio will integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot and the Azure OpenAI service, allowing customers to securely utilize their data and enhance user experience, productivity, and creativity through AI. Atos is developing solution accelerators to transform customer experience, simplify knowledge management, and leverage personalization and semantic search. Internal benefits are already evident, with Atos generating automated responses to RFI and RFP, reducing their costs by 50%.

Co-Creation

To accelerate the adoption of Generative AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot, Atos and Microsoft are offering guidance, solution accelerators, and pilot funding, guiding clients from experimentation to large-scale deployment.

Capabilities

Atos is committed to training 15,000 employees by the end of 2024 in areas such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Cognitive Search, ensuring swift and effective support from pilot phase to implementation.

Experience and Value of Collaboration

Alexa Van Den Bempt, Senior Vice President of Digital Business Platforms at Atos, emphasized the importance of first implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot internally to understand and adopt Generative AI. Kelly Rogan from Microsoft highlighted the value of this collaboration in delivering tangible solutions to customers. John Cairney of Scottish Water acknowledged the benefits gained from Atos’ support and participation in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Adopters Program.

Recognition and Outlook

Gartner has positioned Atos as a leader in its 2023 Magic Quadrant for Subcontracted Digital Workplace Services for the seventh consecutive year, reflecting the strength and impact of this collaboration in the market. This strategic alliance between Atos and Microsoft not only strengthens both companies’ positions in the digital transformation field but also establishes a framework for the continuous development of innovative solutions in the AI and cloud computing space.
