AMD launches the new Ryzen™ AI PRO 300 Series processors

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) has unveiled its third generation of AI processors for mobile devices, specifically designed to enhance business productivity with advanced features like Copilot+, which includes live captioning, language translation in conference calls, and AI image generators. The new Ryzen AI PRO 300 Series processors offer industry-leading AI performance, with up to three times more power compared to the previous generation, and are optimized for daily tasks without compromising performance. Equipped with AMD PRO technologies, these processors also stand out for their world-class security and manageability features, helping companies streamline their IT operations and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Based on the new AMD Zen 5 architecture, the Ryzen AI PRO 300 Series processors deliver exceptional performance and position themselves as the top choice for professional PCs with Copilot+. Leading the line is the Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 375, offering up to 40% higher performance and up to 14% faster productivity than Intel’s Core Ultra 7 165U. With the integration of the XDNA™ 2 architecture powering the integrated NPU, these processors provide over 50 TOPS (trillions of operations per second), surpassing Microsoft’s requirements for Copilot+ AI PCs and delivering advanced AI capabilities for modern businesses. Manufactured with 4 nm technology and innovative energy management, the new processors offer increased battery life, ideal for those working on the go.

Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Computing and Graphics group at AMD, stated: “Businesses increasingly demand computational power and efficiency for their daily tasks and most demanding workloads. We are thrilled to add the Ryzen AI PRO 300 Series processors, the most powerful designed for professional PCs, to our portfolio of mobile processors. This third generation offers unprecedented AI capabilities, incredible battery life, and seamless compatibility with enterprise applications”.

AMD continues to expand its commercial OEM ecosystem with partners introducing new PCs equipped with Ryzen AI PRO 300 Series processors, providing full performance and compatibility to their business customers. With industry-leading TOPS, the next generation of commercial PCs with Ryzen processors is poised to expand the possibilities of local AI processing with Microsoft Copilot+. OEM systems equipped with the Ryzen AI PRO 300 series are expected to be available later this year.
