AMD Unveils High-Performance Graphics Card, the AMD Radeon™ RX 7600 XT

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) has revealed its new high-performance graphics card, the AMD Radeon™ RX 7600 XT, just before CES 2024. This powerful graphics card is designed to meet the demands of the most demanding games and content creation applications, both now and in the future.

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT is an ideal choice for gamers looking for an upgrade, as it offers a smooth and visually stunning gaming experience at 1080p and beyond, even with ray tracing features. With a generous 16 GB GDDR6 high-speed memory, it also allows users to unleash their creativity in cutting-edge artificial intelligence workloads and content creation.

Additionally, thanks to advanced technologies such as AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 and AMD HYPR-RX with AMD Fluid Motion Frames, users can enhance their game settings to enjoy an immersive and highly responsive gaming experience at resolutions of up to 1440p. This translates to gaming and ray tracing performance up to 1.9 times faster than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 in certain titles at 1080p.

“The most demanding gamers around the world seek a simple goal: smooth, lag-free gaming at affordable prices to fully enjoy their gaming experience. Today, the Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card achieves that goal,” commented Jack Huynh, senior vice president and GM, Computing and Graphics Group at AMD.

“Surveys show that a large number of gamers play at 1080p, and the new AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card, with its 16 GB video memory, offers future-proof performance for this market segment,” said Dave Altavilla, principal analyst at HotTech Vision And Analysis. “The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card is also capable of achieving 1440p resolutions with advanced features like FSR 3 and AMD Fluid Motion Frames.”

High Performance in Gaming and Content Creation
With 32 unified high-performance AMD RDNA™ 3 compute units, advanced AI technology, dedicated ray tracing accelerators, and high-capacity graphics memory, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card is optimized for rendering games at maximum settings, offering incredible gaming experiences at 1080p and beyond.

For professionals and enthusiasts looking to push the creative boundaries of their work, the new graphics card offers blistering performance in content creation, empowering professional video editing, graphic design, and 3D modeling applications to bring photorealistic worlds to life. Among its key features and functions are:

– More FPS in hundreds of games – Available in the new version of the AMD Software application: Adrenalin Edition™, AMD Fluid Motion Frames frame generation technology, based on the driver, increases FPS to deliver massive performance improvement and smooth gameplay in thousands of games.

– Performance made easy – AMD HYPR-RX technology simplifies and manages the simultaneous interoperation of AMD Fluid Motion Frames, AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), and AMD Radeon Boost to achieve a performance enhancement effect. In addition, in a select number of ‘HYPR-tuned’ games, AMD HYPR-RX also automatically enables AMD FSR and AMD RSR with a single click, making it easier for users to maximize performance in compatible games.

– Ultra-high-definition encoding – The encoding/decoding multimedia engine delivers maximum performance and enables new multimedia experiences through full compatibility with AV1 encoding/decoding, wide color gamut, and high dynamic range enhancements. In addition, AV1, AVC, and HEVC speed control optimizations offer higher quality video encoding and decoding.

– Improved quality and performance for streaming – Enables high-fidelity streaming with hardware-based AV1 encoding using OBS Studio, AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, or other streaming software. AMD’s AI-powered noise suppression technology also helps reduce background noise for superior streaming quality.

– AI acceleration – Integrated AI accelerators are optimized for cutting-edge AI workloads. Leveraging Windows DirectML technology, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card powers next-generation generative AI and consumer applications with upscaling.

– New levels of immersion – The AMD Radiance Display™ Engine offers support for next-generation displays based on DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI® 2.1a for ultra-high resolutions and high refresh rates for gaming and content creation workloads.
