With over 20 years of experience in implementing development strategies and driving business growth within the IT sector, Alfonso Ramírez will now take on the role of General Manager of Kaspersky’s European business. According to the company, he is prepared to continue advancing his position within the organization.

Kaspersky has announced the appointment of Alfonso Ramírez as the new General Manager of the company in Europe. In this capacity, he will lead the development and execution of Kaspersky’s corporate and consumer strategies on a European level. Leveraging the company’s strong distribution network and partners, Ramírez will capitalize on business growth and revenue opportunities for all strategic areas, with a focus on cybersecurity for both enterprises and SMEs. This includes industrial cybersecurity as well as innovative security solutions for consumers.

Ramírez’s career at Kaspersky began in 2008 as the Consumer Business Director in Iberia, playing a key role in positioning the company’s consumer products in the European market. He later rose to the position of General Manager, where he led business strategies in Spain and Portugal for 10 years. Prior to joining Kaspersky, Ramírez held various sales and marketing leadership roles in multinational companies. He holds a degree in Marketing and Business Administration from the ESIC Business and Marketing School in Madrid, Spain.
