Aire Networks bills 107 million, 32% more, after the merger of LCRcom.

Aire Networks, the telecommunications company based in Elche (Alicante), has achieved an impressive growth in its revenue, reaching 107.8 million euros in 2023, representing a 32% increase from the 81.9 million euros earned in 2022. This significant boost is largely attributed to the merger by absorption of Least Cost Routing Telecom, S.L.U., carried out last year, which has contributed to acquiring new clients and expanding its presence in the market.

In addition to the revenue increase, Aire Networks has reported a net profit of 51.2 million euros in 2023, marking a 41% rise compared to the 36.3 million euros in 2022. The recurring Ebitda on sales has also improved, reaching 26.7% in 2023, up from 25.7% in the previous year, after excluding extraordinary expenses related to the group’s purchase and sale operation during the previous year. The company emphasizes in its financial report that these figures reflect a favorable evolution and sustained growth trajectory.

Regarding its workforce, Aire Networks has experienced a significant increase in the number of employees, rising from 273 to 366 workers by the end of 2023. This growth is partially due to the integration of employees from Least Cost Routing Telecom.

The merger between Aire Networks and Least Cost Routing Telecom, concluded in 2023, allowed Aire Networks to absorb Least Cost Routing Telecom (LCRcom), including the dissolution and extinction without liquidation of the latter. Through this merger, Aire Networks succeeded to all the rights and obligations of the absorbed company. The main objective of this merger was to advance the rationalization and simplification of the group’s corporate, financial, commercial, and operational structure, optimizing internal processes and reducing operational costs to seek synergies and greater future efficiency.

In recent years, Grupo Aire has been incorporating new companies into its portfolio such as the leading cloud infrastructure and bare-metal provider Stackscale, as well as system management companies like Teradisk and SysadminOk.

At the beginning of 2024, Grupo Aire announced the integration of the operator Idecnet, specialized in connectivity services and data centers in the Canary Islands. This addition strengthens Grupo Aire’s presence in the region and solidifies its leading position in the telecommunications market, expanding its network infrastructure and adding a new data center to its own network of data centers.

More recently, Aire Networks has selected Nokia’s mobile core solutions to enhance customer experience. This agreement, which covers Nokia’s mobile core solutions, will modernize Aire Networks’ network and extend the existing relationship between both companies, strengthening their ability to provide high-quality services to their customers.

With these strategic moves, Aire Networks continues to consolidate its position as one of the leading wholesale telecommunication operators in Spain, with a prominent presence in both rural and urban areas.
