AEWIN Introduces Its High-Density Edge Computing Server at Embedded World 2025

AEWIN Tech has announced the launch of the BAS-6101A, a high-density edge computing server based on AMD Zen5, Zen4c, and Zen4 EPYC processors, during its participation in Embedded World 2025 at the DFI booth. This system has been designed for real-time applications with high processing demands, offering a powerful computing capability, large memory capacity, and extensive expansion options to support GPU, FPGA, and cryptographic accelerator cards.

Extreme Power with the Latest AMD EPYC Technology

The BAS-6101A integrates the latest generation of AMD Turin processors, with up to 128 cores, delivering the extreme computing performance demanded by today’s market. Its architecture allows for the integration of 24 DDR5 slots, with 2 DIMMs per channel, achieving a total capacity of up to 6 TB of memory, significantly enhancing data processing speed and system scalability.

To ensure advanced expansion, this server features 8 PCIe Gen5 slots and an OCP 3.0 slot, enabling optimized configurations for FHFL GPU cards focused on artificial intelligence workloads. Additionally, its compact design of 600 mm in depth makes it an ideal solution for implementations in the edge environment, facilitating integration into various Edge AI applications.

High-Performance Security and Cryptographic Acceleration

AEWIN has incorporated a range of cryptographic acceleration cards in the BAS-6101A, including the models OT018, OT019, and OT020, which provide powerful encoding and decoding capabilities. These cards support a wide array of security protocols and cryptographic algorithms such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, DTLS, AES, RSA, and SHA-256, offering robust protection for data security.

The server also supports high-speed connectivity through custom AEWIN network cards or standard commercial solutions, making it an ideal solution for AI-driven cybersecurity environments, where real-time threat detection and high-performance processing are key factors.

Flexibility and Customization in Connectivity and Expansion

The compatibility with PCIe Gen5 cards provides ultra-fast connectivity and flexible expansion capacity, allowing the BAS-6101A to adapt to various business needs. AEWIN also offers options for custom network interface cards (NICs), enabling customers to design specific configurations to meet particular application demands.
