Acronis reinforces its commitment to cybersecurity by achieving the High Level ENS Certification in Spain.

The cybersecurity company Acronis has reached a new milestone in its journey by obtaining the high-level certification from Spain’s National Security Scheme (ENS), a regulation governed by Royal Decree 3/2010. This achievement, validated through a rigorous audit conducted by BDO Spain, certifies that Acronis meets the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and availability required, thus offering a robust level of security that supports the operations of public sector organizations in Spain.

The ENS certification in the high category represents a significant opportunity for Acronis’ distribution channel, providing additional tools to expand its business in the cybersecurity and secure application development field. This recognition allows Acronis to strengthen its position as a leader in the cyber protection market and as a reliable provider for government entities looking to enhance their technological infrastructures with high-level security guarantees.

Denis Cassinerio, senior director of Acronis in the Iberia region, emphasized the value of this certification: “Acronis’ alignment with these comprehensive security guidelines underscores our commitment to data protection and support for broader national security goals. It is a strategic investment that strengthens the creation of a resilient and reliable cloud ecosystem, meticulously complying with the strict criteria established by the Spanish administration to protect critical IT resources.”

The National Security Scheme was created in collaboration with the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC), the Ministry of Finance and Public Function of Spain, the National Cryptologic Center (CCN), and other administrative bodies. This scheme regulates the minimum requirements necessary for adequate protection of information handled by public entities, thus ensuring the security of the services offered to citizens.

The attainment of the ENS certification in the high category is a testament to Acronis’ ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance the quality and security of its cyber protection solutions. Acronis not only offers advanced anti-malware solutions and endpoint protection management, but also specializes in backup and disaster recovery services, all designed to operate efficiently in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environments.

With over 20 years of industry experience and presence in more than 150 countries, Acronis aims to continue leading the transformation in global cybersecurity, helping businesses and governments navigate the complex landscape of modern threats with innovative and secure solutions.
